Wind, or camera jiggle? Looks like there is some slight movement with many of the lights.

1/200th at 24mm thought that was good? Not as bright as looks. Am old but no tremors yet.

Looks like a soft corner due to the lens quality or the wide angle wide f-stop used.
Hope you have a great ___________________ (insert your holiday there for the sake of PC).

Yes, I hate those soft corners! or the not so sharp holiday lights or whatever(hate that term but also love to use it in the right places).
Have a great holiday also.

No disrespect meant Lloyd but
Personally, I'm well beyond fed up with the PC crap and the last time I checked, this is still America, land of the FREE, so I will just say it...
Have a blessed and Merry CHRISTmas everyone!
(and I left "the land of the free" right there for the sake of NOT dragging politics into the forum)

Has anyone started an album related to Christmas/lights and trains?

Some of y'all need to calm down a bit. Happy holidays has been a common greeting for decades, long before "PC culture" became a thing. Christmas is still (and will always be) the de facto holiday of the season. Nothing to get worked up about. FWIW, I went to a high school where about 25% of the students were Jewish, and it hasn't intruded on my Christmas experience.
As for the photo, the trees on the right are visibly out of focus, that's probably what the screeners were looking at. It does look a bit soft overall but still a nice scene.

Just a followup since nothing happening and to move away from another thread.
Replies were interesting, maybe this and maybe that but nothing really to confirm rejection. But in posting elsewhere was just OK so apparently less appealing than I thought.
Rejection, Just as well. One of those situations I guess where it is hard to separate from the moment. Nice evening, quiet, pretty park, train and horn heard in the distance etc.
I thought I'd throw this one out, didn't think too much of it but seems to have good acceptance of c,ourse wouldn't try here.
EB at Seward, IL after a run on old IC, there have several posts here.
Bob
Oh, Merry Christmas Loyd (in Russia and many Orthodox countries).

Yea, not mine, a short cut from the gas station. If I were that serious about it.... but then I didn't clean up the trash either.

Sure you could dig out something and get the ball rolling even tho no rejections, did you ever have a rejection? Smile
I went over 15 years without shooting a train my only connection was reading Trains and taking our son on Silverton etc.

My archives are stuffed full of photos that would be accepted here, but it's been 515 days since I have uploaded a photo and it's a record I'm not ready to break.
I honestly do not remember the last time I had a rejection, but it's been a while (way longer than 515 days).

When you keep your expectations low, you're rarely disappointed right?
You still find yourself around Chicago often? I'm pondering a trip early next year.

Still consulting for the utility out there, but havent been there since March of 2020, and all work has been virtual. Contractors are part of Phase 3 of the company's re-entry. Phase 1 was scheduled to start in January, but was recently postponed due to Omicron. It's anyone's guess when I will be back out there. I have relocated to Lancaster, PA, so let me know if you're coming up this way.

I'm in the same boat (TONS of photos to upload) but you've got me beat by the number of days since last upload, as I'm at 443 days.
