On January 30, 2019, a small but intense snow squall hit Harlem, New York, in the early afternoon. For about an hour, the bright, sunny day disappeared and blizzard conditions hit the city. As the storm let up, Metro-North Railroad train 870 (Poughkeepsie to NYC’s Grand Central Terminal) passed through the Harlem/125th Street Station with an ice and snow-encrusted P32AC-DM (MNCW 224) on the rear.
