Remarks & Notes |
On the second day of 1971, Penn Central Harlem Line commuter trains meet at North White Plains station. The southbound Brewster-Grand Central run at the platform has the usual pair of FL9s, but the approaching Saturday afternoon run to Chatham from GCT is oddly powered by a pair of E8s, not normally seen on the Harlem Line. Possibly a power shortage forced them to pinch hit. |
