On display near the old Western Maryland Railway depot in Westernport MD is WM caboose 1826. Wearing its original paint scheme, most likely a repaint, this car was built by the railroad in August 1937. The latest date in its COTS panel was for having its journals repacked in September 1987, at a time when this car was part of the CSX Transportation railroad, marked as Baltimore & Ohio’s CV Shop.
