Tacoma's Union Station may now officially be a Federal Courthouse, but it is also something of an Art Gallery and Museum. From the statue of the early 1900's passenger out front, to the Art Glass hung from the dome and adorning the windows, to the artifacts displayed in the lower level, it is certainly a worthy preservation. Don't miss the NP Monad in the arched window. Click Here for a trackside view of the station
A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
Oh the stories these special buildings could tell. Originally the brains of the rails they monitored, working to insure effecient rail service for our nation! A tribute!
